This was a well-suited match for a holiday in Adare with a good price-quality ratio. The food was superb, particularly breakfast, which was delicious and worth not missing. Try to arrive early to enjoy the bar in the evening.

From skeptic to superfan

The staff genuinely went above and beyond, making our visit special. We particularly loved the fantastic breakfast and wonderful spa facilities that felt like heaven on earth.

Sadly, the lack of air conditioning made our room quite uncomfortable. We faced issues with noise levels during events that detracted from our relaxation.

the woodlands is such a fantastic place for families. my kids loved the petting farm and the pool was super fun for them. our room was really spacious and comfy, we had lots of room to relax. the staff were so friendly and helpful, made us feel special during our stay. breakfast was great too, lots of choice and everything was delicious.

i did notice that some areas of the hotel could use a little updating and the bar didn't have much of a selection. overall, a great stay but could be improved.

The fire pits added a classy touch upon arrival, and the outdoor dining options were a highlight. the bunting and casual atmosphere made it feel like a special community event.

I enjoyed the lovely swimming pool and friendly staff, but the breakfast wasn’t great. It lacked a good variety of foods for all. it was sweet as!

We just finished our stay, and I can't recommend this place enough! The kids loved the pool and the scavenger hunt around the grounds. The room was spacious, and we had plenty of space to relax. Breakfast had really tasty options, but the dinner menu felt a bit limited at times.

The relaxing atmosphere was delightful, with charming vintage decor that made me feel right at home. There were cozy seating areas and thoughtfully placed amenities that catered perfectly to our needs as seniors.

More accessible elevators would be appreciated.

Family friendly and accommodating

We had a superior room and despite it being a bit worn out, it was huge with all the necessities. The bistro staff were top-notch, especially Callum who made sure we were well taken care of during meals.

It wasn’t cheap, but given the experience, it was acceptable.

The spacious family room was a highlight, accommodating all five of us comfortably with full-sized beds. The petting farm was a delightful addition for the kids, especially the interactive experience with Daisy the goat, which made for memorable family fun.

The quality of food in the bistro was disappointing, particularly the breakfast. rubbery scrambled eggs and a lack of freshness were major letdowns. water availability at night was a hassle, as the vending machines ran out quickly, leaving us parched. We also experienced lengthy delays during check-in, which added to the frustrations of our stay.
